Important equipment for this type of shot:
- Studio light(s) (you can use a 1-light butterfly set up)
- A treat to place onto the perspex
- A square of perspex/acrylic that you can hold in one hand
- A dog that likes the treat!
- A lens with a reasonably shot focussing distance (doesn’t need to be macro)
- Patience and a positive attitude!
Question! what’s the difference between that surface blur and high pass? as they both seem to bring detail out. thanks!
ps: not related, but when I saw that picture of teethy Beanie, a little bit of wee came out. Just saying.
Hahaha!! High pass sharpens the edges that exist, the Surface blur rips up more detail for super gritty chunks. Different effect imho
XD XD XD SORRY JUST SAW THIS!!! It was a sweaty one, wasn’t it? I don’t care now my freezer is FULL OF ICE LOLLIES!! take that, bad man!
