The info:

IPS uses every ounce of sales psychology to achieve extraordinary things. From the way the price list is laid out, to how you take clients through the images, to the location you do the session itself in. Everything works together to give you the maximum in sales value at the lowest possible cost.

With IPS, you may feel that clients might be resistant to the idea of a Viewing Session at first, but once complete, as long as you don’t push, they’ll come back time and time again.

On this absolutely jam-packed day, we’re going to cover:

  • What IPS is
  • Common mistakes
  • What you’ll need to succeed
  • Client management
  • Full session workflow

What they say…

I had online galleries but the general uptake from clients was poor. Some people did purchase items but not big prints or panels. Jess helped to prepare me for IPS but it was nerve-wracking.

On my very first IPS, I had my price list all drawn up and I remember driving to the clients house – I felt so sick. I had three different packages on my price list, and I met this family and did my IPS like I’d practised – incredibly they bought the top package! I absolutely couldn’t believe it. I went away on such a high. On the online gallery, they might have bought a couple of 10×8’s but with IPS they bought an album, a very large framed print and some smaller prints too. That first session really sticks in my mind, it was such an eye-opener. I never looked back after that. IPS has hugely improved my sales and has allowed me to provide a much better customer experience.

Jess’s business coaching has been fantastic and invaluable. By having regular sessions it has helped me set goals for my business and reach them in short spaces of time. Her style of teaching makes all subjects easy to understand and she is very patient!  She is very knowledgeable, I have yet to raise a question or query that she does not have an answer or idea of how to solve.

I attended my second workshop from Jess, this time to learn all about IPS as up to that point I wasn’t using IPS at all. This workshop was fab, Jess explained how important it was to actually believe in your work and to look at it as Art, this was a huge turning point in my previous train of thought towards my photography.

I then learnt how important it was to have beautiful and consistent high-quality samples of prints and artwork to wow your clients with, we also discovered the ins and outs of conducting an in-person sale and how to become successful at marketing your products during their viewing session. To finish off the day, the last imperative part was the all-important packaging and how important that was to the client. Also covered was how to value your worth as a photographer and then to calculate the prices using CODB and profit.

Since the workshop, I have had some really successful IPS sales and after recently moving house and sorting my studio space out I am nearly ready to start marketing again and will be jumping straight back into IPS.

I was so insecure about so many things on how to set up my business, and now I feel way more confident with how is progressing! I am so thankful because the advice and opinions were real and transparent and I think that you can’t put a value on that! I don’t think I would be able to find the same type of advice and guide anywhere else! Thank you so much for sharing your experience of all these years with us with so much openness! Can’t wait for the next workshop with Jess.
